Summary: Provide overall human resource support. Responsible for benefit administration, payroll, workers compensation, staffing, recruitment and general administration of human resource policies and practices. Actively analyzes and recommends changes to moderately complex location practices, application of discipline, and ensures consistent application of HR laws, regulations and company policies. General Responsibilities: -Benefit Administration -Payroll Administration -Recruitment and selection -Workers compensation -Unemployment compensation administration -Compensation Administration -Human Resource Administration - Works with managers to audit skills/competencies and recommends development/training plans and performance management to address skill or role deficiencies. -Investigates, analyzes and recommends changes/improvements to moderately complex HR processes and practices. Skills: -Advanced knowledge of company programs (benefits, payroll, compensation, workers compensation and human resource programs) -Advanced knowledge of human resources administration practices -Intermediate knowledge of human resources laws, regulations and HR theory -Issue and conflict resolution skills -Problem solving skills -Customer service focused -Organized and detail oriented -Ability to maintain confidentiality -Work independently and interact with all levels of employees (production and management) -Basic understanding of company's business processes, financials and general business acumen Education: -Bachelors in Business, Human Resources or equivalent work experience -2 to 3 years of professional HR experience -HR certification preferred (i.e., PHR, SPHR

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
